Growing Chefs: Whole Foods 5% Day

We are so excited to announce that Whole Foods Vancouver has chosen Growing Chefs! as their beneficiary of an upcoming 5% Community Giving Day! Shop at any of these four Vancouver Whole Foods locations – Robson, Cambie, Kitsilano, and West Vancouver on February 7th and we’ll receive 5% of that day’s net sales. The proceeds will go towards the materials, cooking tools, and food for our Classroom Gardening and Cooking program.

Chef Andrea Carlson of her new restaurant Burdock and Co., will also be at three Whole Foods Market locations to demonstrate Growing Chefs! signature Roasted Root Salad. Check out what time she’ll be at your local Whole Foods Market:

• West Vancouver Whole Foods Market – 11:00 a.m.
• Robson Whole Foods Market – 12:00 p.m.
• Cambie Whole Foods Market – 3:15 p.m.

Eat, shop, and hang out with us and our volunteers on February 7th at your local Whole Foods Market. We will be there with fun activities  between 11 am – 6 pm. See you there!
