Setting The Stage

The Growing Chefs! at Sir William Van Horne created a wonderful display of their cooking lesson with the students. Every grade 3 student at Sir William Van Horne brought ingredients to create a bountiful, nutritious, and, delicious stir fry!
After students cleaned, harvested, teared, and chopped up their vegetables, each student had the opportunity to dipped their hands in the ingredients and add them to the WOK.
It was great to see student participating in the entire cooking process, from harvesting to eating! At the end of our cooking show, students tasted their yummy dishes! Many students went back for seconds, even thirds!
