Growing Chefs! is looking for a motivated and creative individual to join our team as our Executive Assistant. The successful candidate will be responsible for a wide-range of activities, including event coordination, program support, community outreach, social media, administrative support and administrative duties. This position is a four-month part time position of 20hrs/week with an anticipated start date of Sept. 1st/2012.

This position will provide you with a range of hands-on experience from event planning and coordination, program coordination, social media marketing, public relations, office administration, and fundraising. It will offer the successful candidate an inside view of the workings of a non-profit environment, and provide valuable training and job skills applicable to both the for-profit and non-profit
sectors.

Position is based in Vancouver. Must be able to work remotely and in office. Commitment is 20hrs/ week—may occasionally include evenings and weekends and may occasionally require additional hours, which candidate will be compensated for. Remuneration is $13/hr for 20hrs week for 16-week period beginning Sept. 1st/2012.
