Vegetable Sharing Circle
In Lesson 3, students bring a vegetable into class for a vegetable show and tell. The students share with the chefs and their classmates why they brought in the veggie and what it means to them. Each year, we have a huge variety of vegetables.. Sometimes the students bring in vegetables the chefs have never heard of! After the show and tell, the chefs cut up the vegetables for the students to try!
This year we had horseradish, ginger, lemongrass, apple eggplants, bitter melon, celery root, jicama, and more!
